In the heart of France, at the foot of the Alps, in a region known for distilling spirits, Sober Spirits invents and develops the future of non-alcoholic drinks.

After more than 145 years, this red-brick distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in France that has secretly preserved the best distillation techniques for the production of spirits. The whole story began with a spirits journey around the world, which enabled the company to draw up a complete map of the aromas and flavours they wanted to find in their products.

Armed with pipettes, syringes, a dash of madness, a small distiller, a little ingenuity and a list of ingredients to test, taste and compare, Calixte invented everything in his kitchen with a single goal: to create the best non-alcoholic alternative to cocktails.

Only after 2 years and several hundred tests, inventing and adapting new extraction, infusion and distillation techniques, and many questions about the technical feasibility, they have succeeded in inventing Sober Spirits ...

The passionate master distiller now creates, with his know-how, the whole range of Sober Spirits with a secret technique that allows him to create a real cocktail experience without compromise.

This process takes several days and requires almost half a dozen different techniques, the most important of which is distilling in copper stills that are over a century old. Their technical expertise, control of process times and heating temperatures, and selection of suppliers enable them to exploit the full aromatic potential of the raw materials.
